System Structure and Integration

The Thalcom 4G+5G Mid-Power Integrated Base Station supports full 4G and 5G base station functionality, enabling flexible deployment options—either as a standalone 5G unit or with simultaneous 4G and 5G operation.

Hardware Architecture

  • The 4G/5G baseband boards are designed without onboard RF modules. Instead, the RF functionality is fully integrated into the mainboard, optimizing space and system integration.
  • 5G RF output supports a single-channel power of 5 watts, while the 4G RF output supports a single-channel power of 2 watts, providing strong and efficient signal transmission for mid-range coverage.

Interconnect and I/O Ports

  • The 4G and 5G baseband boards connect to the mainboard via high-speed connectors.
  • The mainboard features multiple interface types for flexibility:
